Did you know...

Homelessness in New York City has currently reached its highest point since the Great Depression. As of December 2016, there were 62,674 homeless people.  This includes 15,856 homeless families with 24,076 homeless children.  Typically they sleep each night in the New York City municipal shelter system. Families comprise just over three-quarters of the homeless shelter population.
